Gaming Update
Hey guys! i have a lot of news here today!
First things first: Please welcome the new event tag for my blog. So now if i have a birthday/party/celebration/wedding/gaming event/holiday/contest/etc... you will now find them in Events. So yeah...
Okay. So anyways. I have about 500 Mega-Bytes left on my computer in my 1st drive. And This is annoying. So thats why i am now thinking of buying a 500GB Internal drive... Yeah, I am really exited. But thats only half of it. In the same order i am getting myself a state of the art 9600gt(Newest generation) Video Card! This will run Crysis 21 times faster than my current graphics card. Because i am SLI'ing it. SLI means combining two video cards together for more performance. So yeah. It's about $300CAN. But i think i can manage after saving for a few months. But i am really hyped up on that anyways.
And i have another awesome game that i can't wait for. Mirrors Edge. It looks fantastic. It is pretty much a parkour game with a first-person-shooter-like addition. Meaning you can perform a huge side-wall powered jump and then leap off onto somebody's head and swing them around on a bar above you and fling them away. then you pick up his gun and shoot another guy before dodging a helicopter. Mirrors Edge
Mixing Parkour, A First Person Shooter, And Assassins Creed, Mirrors Edge takes you into the roll of a runner named Faith, who's family was ripped apart during riots, Her mom was killed. The Police have taken your sister for a crime she didn't commit. and now they are hunting you. Hopefully this game should live up to It's Amazing in-game trailers... The Graphics remind a ton of portal, Because of the warm and cold colors that indicate the player to look wherever there is warm., and the gameplay is just plain brilliant. Not to mention the story. Which i think is remarkably well done.
Should be released on November 12-14 2008.
Half-Life 2: Episode 3
The Finale of the Half-Life 2 Series. During the episode you will fight Advisors, Travel to the Borealis (The Ship made by aperture science), and Maybe even topple the Combine in their pursuit for power. Hopefully this Episode will be as exiting as the last one. Or even more! Their has been some concept art so far. I looks great, One of them is the thumbnail to the left of this.
It should be released by January 2009.
However i am unsure.
FarCry 2
The Sequel to the first farcry game. which was a brilliant tactical shooter. In FarCry 2 you return to Africa to journey through another great adventure to hunt down a man named "The Jackal".
Using Technology from the Dunia engine. Dunia was made essentially for FarCry 2. It features amazing realistic graphics, Destructable enviorment, Night-Day cycle, Fire Propagation, Non-scripted AI, Storm Effects, And a dynamic music system.
Coming October 31st 2008.
Absolutely can't wait.
Half-Life 3
Not much is known about Half-Life 3. However HL3 will apearantly have a different storyline than HL2 or HL1. But it will feature Gordon as the main character. So Keep that crowbar, The adventure will not end at HL2: EP3.

Veni, Vidi, Vici. (I came, I saw, I conquered.)
Well. I would have posted this right away when we got back from vacation but i was too exited to do anything else but freak out. So that is why i am posting now. So i better make this good.
I... Noah, Have just accomplished the impossible. I have traveled for 79 hours, survived a train, and powered on to a cabin where i stayed with my relatives for 3 days. Then, I went through the embarrassment of bringing a pair of black pants that was 1-2 sizes too short and looked hilarious through my cousins wedding. Then had a birthday away from home for the first time, except the first first time because that's when i was born... And of course, i survived the train again. and then had a hardcore lesson with a great viola teacher. Then the rest of the travel, And finally arriving at home i freaked out and never got around to posting this Epicosity of a blog post. I am king of the universe!!!!
